Sailaja Koduri, Ph.D., is a program director in the Division of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Biological Chemistry, where she administers a portfolio of research grants in the areas of drug metabolism, transport, and kinetics; drug delivery systems; and small business (SBIR) and technology transfer (STTR). She also manages predoctoral training grants in pharmacological sciences and postdoctoral training grants in clinical pharmacology.
Koduri was formerly a scientific review officer at National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, and prior to that, she worked as a senior scientist at BioReliance.
She earned a B.S. in chemistry from Nagarjuna University and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Central Food Technological Research Institute, both in India. Koduri conducted postdoctoral research at the Howard University College of Medicine and National Cancer Institute.
